Smokefree England

From 1st of July 2007 it will be against the law to smoke in virtually all enclosed public places and workplaces in England. This includes places like cafes, bars, pubs, clubs, shopping centres, railway stations, garages, work vehicles, taxis, factories and staff rooms. Anyone who breaks the smokefree law could face a fine or end up in court.

If you are unsure where you can and can't smoke, look out for the no-smoking signs or ask someone in charge.
