Screensaver installation

To install the Smokefree England countdown reminder screensaver, please follow the steps below:

PC version

This screensaver will run on all Windows operating systems: Windows 95, 98, NT, Me, 2000, and XP
  1. Download: Click on the download link below, select 'save file' and save the file on your computer.
  2. Double click on the file on your computer to install the screensaver.
  3. The screensaver is a self install application, so it will now start the installation process.
  4. To change the settings of your screensaver or so check that it is installed, you can either go to the Settings / Control Panels menu of your Start Menu, or right-click on your desktop and choosing Properties from the pop-up menu.
  5. In the Settings/Control Panels menu, Click 'Preview' to see your screensaver in action
Please note: Some companies may have security systems that will stop you downloading or installing the screensaver on your machine. If you experience problems, please consult your IT department.

Download PC version of Screensaver

Mac version

The Mac screensaver will run on OS X.

  1. Download the linked file below.
  2. If the zip file does not expand automatically, double click "sfengland_installer_osx.zip" to expand.
  3. Double click "SFEngland_Installer_OSX" to begin installation.
  4. The Screen Saver System Preferences Panel will open automatically after successful installation.
