Greene King helps staff to quit smoking

28 February 2007

The Publican and Morning Advertiser both reported on how Greene King has launched a campaign to help its 16,000 staff quit smoking ahead of the smokefree legislation coming into force in both countries. The campaign 'A fresher way of thinking - commit to quit' is designed to help the company's workforce in giving up smoking.

The company is also pledging £5 to the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation for each employee that gives up smoking by 31 March and is still smoke-free by the start of the English smokefree legislation on 1 July.
