Pub regular facing first smoking ban trial

A pensioner has become the first person to appear in court charged with defying the smokefree legislation in Scotland. He appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court and will go to trial in March, accused of lighting up in a local pub, and refusing to extinguish his cigarette upon request by staff.
