The government have produced five individual sets of specific regulations. These sets are what make up and explain the detail behind the Smoke Free legislation that was put in place on July 1st 2007.
The official guide to the Smoke Free law was produced by the government who sent out copies of this to all businesses who at that time were currently actively trading and registered at Companies House. This guidance pack included everything that business owners and employers needed to know in order to ensure that they and their employees adhered to the legislation.
Included in the pack were signage examples, a smoke free policy which could be used to forge a business’ own policy specific to their environment and more.
